Admission for the programme is through the Department of Management of University of Pune. Application forms can be purchased from this department for the DCBM programme. The last date for submitting the eligibility forms along with eligibility fee to University Department or College or Institute is 31st August. Applications which are submitted by 30th September need to pay a late fee of Rs. 50. Applications which are submitted by 31st October need to pay a late fee of Rs. 200. The eligibility fee is Rs. 200 for the Post Graduate Diploma for those within Maharastra. For candidates outside Maharashtra the fee is Rs. 300. For NRI or Foreign citizens the fee is Rs. 1000.

The college was established in the year 1947 in the city of Pune. The name was later changed in 1962 as National co-operative College and Research Institute (NCCRI). The Institute has been training students in various aspects of management training, research and consultancy and even conducting management development programmes. It caters to the need of various national, government and co-operative organizations. DCBM course is conducted as a 38 week course in the Centre of Management Education. What are the Eligibility requirements for DCBM?
Students with a Bachelors degree in any subject from any university in India or even foreign university can apply for DCBM. University of Pune also recognizes Diploma awarded by Board of Technical Education by state or Central Government with one year post diploma experience for students who have passed HSC and two years post diploma experience for students who have passed SSC, as a qualification for the DCBM programme. This course is useful for professionals working in the co-operative sector and hence experience in the co-operative sector is an added advantage. Students for the DCBM course are chosen through a personal interview by the College.
University of Pune (UOP) emphasizes on the need to fulfill the eligibility requirements for each student who is admitted to the course. Hence it is utmost important that the student satisfies the eligibility requirements of the course. The responsibility of checking the status of admission lies entirely with the Principal or Director of the Institute and hence they are accountable if the student is falsely admitted to for the programme.
The Principal or Director of the concerned College should scrutinize all the documents of the student namely – Statement of Marks, Degree Certificate, Migration Certificate, Transference Certificate Attendance Certificate. All the verified original documents need to be returned to the students after due scrutiny.
Details of Examination
Examination consists of external papers and internal papers. For the external papers consists of external assessment of 70 marks and internal assessment of 30 marks. External assessment comprises of written examination at the end of the semester. The marks for internal assessment are communicated to the University before the start of the Semester examination.
Project Report for DCBM
Project Report is mandatory for the DCBM programme. They need to choose a topic or problem in the subject of specialization. They need to undertake fieldwork in a Cooperative organization. A faculty guide is appointed by the College for any assistance and guidance in the project. The project report need to be submitted before the start of semester exams and the project report will be evaluated by a panel of examiners.
What is the Standard of passing
The minimum percentage of passing in the examination is 40% in both external and internal papers for the DCBM programme.
